One thing I worry about, being an owner of animals and bringing in odors from the barn on my chore clothes or just the fact that I have indoor pets, is pet odors.
I do not want to be known as a smelly house.

The easiest advice I can give to anyone with animals is to use an air purifier if you’re worried about odor and pet dander.
Having at least one air purifier in your home for your pets can help reduce odors and collect some excess hair floating around, which is also perfect if anyone in your household has some allergies.

THE TWO AIR PURIFIERS I CURRENTLY OWN
Hamilton Beach TrueAir Air Purifier
The first purifier I brought into my home was the Hamilton Beach TrueAir Air Purifier.
It’s for smaller rooms, around 140 square feet, and priced under $100.00.

I originally purchased this air purifier for the entry closet, where I had to keep one of our cat boxes temporarily.
The cat box was removed, but the purifier works for the shoe and chore clothes odors that linger in the closet.
This small air purifier is also great for clearing the air in small bedrooms for guests.
We do this for our oldest son’s girlfriend when she visits for her cat allergies.
It operates quickly, and the filter claims to capture 99% of pet dander, pollen, and spores.
It is model number 4384, and you can easily find compatible replacement filters.
MORENTO H13
The second air purifier I purchased is the MORENTO H13 I think this purifier was around $200.00, and it’s for rooms up to 1076 square feet.
My home layout has a very open floor plan, so this air purifier works for our living room/kitchen/dining room space.
I like that this filter has a timer so you can turn it on, and it will shut off on its own.
You can also adjust the fan speed, and it has filters that are very easy to replace on both sides.
It claims that it can clear the air within one hour, and you can see the results with what the filter collects from the air.
I plan to repurpose this further for my youngest son’s small apartment, which does not have opening windows.
This air purifier is model number HY4866 and is compatible with many filter options found on Amazon.
